Insurance professionals who understand the subrogation process, industry systems and integration technology established Recclaim in 2007. CEO Kevin May is also founder and CEO of Acclaim Resource Partners, LLC, which has been providing subrogation payment processing solutions to major insurance carriers since 2005. His insurance experience over the past 17 years includes underwriting, claims and subrogation.

Two of the other founders, Dustin Cassady and Erik Barnlund, who had more than 15 years combined experience applying cutting edge technologies within the insurance industry, were also partners of Mavidea Technology Group, LLC, an information technology firm that specializes in web application development and managed network services.

In a chance meeting and subsequent discussions, the three discovered they had the answer many major insurance carrier executives had been looking for – how to increase the speed of subrogation payment processing.

That answer is called SubroPro, an application that can reduce payment processing time by 60% to 70%, and transactional costs by up to 40%, saving insurance companies literally millions of dollars each year.

SubroPro’s reporting feature will also enable management to track recovery dollars, percent of files being touched, worked and settled, and a variety of other tools to measure vendor and employee performance.
